Grandma and Papa came over for Paxton's birthday. Paxton loves them so much! Thank you Grandma and Papa for everything you do for Pax. He loves it, and we love it!

Today is Paxton's 2nd birthday, and although he is so much fun at this age, I'm sad to see my baby become such a little boy. This birthday is almost bitter-sweet. These first two years have gone way too fast, I can only imagine how fast the years to come will fly by too.
All of you that really know Paxton know that he is a very active little boy. He has so much energy, but at the same time he is so sweet. He is talking so much, actually putting together sentences. He latest new thing is to say please for everything...thank you-please, no-please, stop-please, now-please, and yes-please. He also tells us he loves us, that really melts our heart.
He's also started to pick out his own clothes, which will take some time for me to get used to since I ALWAYS have to have him match. Like this morning, instead of wearing the grey sweats I picked out he got some of his pajama pants that have monkey's all over them and said, "this me pants, please." Whenever he wants something he'll say, "this me, please." I'm not sure where he picked that up, but it is so cute!
At the age of two his favor ties things are:
-daddy
-papa and grandma
-his friends, Dayton, Toni, Bentley, Andrew, Mason (although he has his own names for all of them)
-his cuzzies, Addesen and Isabelle
-ice cream
-Dora snacks, and anything Dora
-Cheetos puffs
-Handy Manny
-The Backyardigans
-squirt guns and Nerf guns
-bubbles
-scrambled eggs
-green-beans
-the park
-and of course Me =)
He goes to the doctor next week for his two year check up. I'm sure he'll still be considered small for his age since he is so skinny. We weighed him a couple of weeks ago and he weighed 25 pounds, so I'm interested to see if this is accurate. He is growing tall though, and I think he'll actually be a little on the taller side for his age.
Happy Happy Birthday our sweet-sweet Paxton.

I cannot believe that my baby is turning 2. He had a great birthday party. Tomorrow is his actual birthday, so I figured I would try and get the pictures from his party up before then.
Out of all the kids, I think Paxton was the only one who really sat down and ate his cake, but then again, Paxton loves cake!

Paxton got out of the bath tonight, put all his squirt-guns into his dump truck, and brought them into the living-room. He even dried them all off with a towel.
When Paxton was in the bath I asked him where Grandma's toes were...he put them up on the ledge and showed me. It is so cute! If you ask him who's toes they are, he'll tell you Grandmas.

EASTER WEEKEND!
We had a great Easter with family! By the third Easter-egg hunt Paxton finally figured it out and loved it! =)
Paxton used the same Easter basket as last year...we plan to use it next year too. We wonder how long we'll be able to keep it before it gets lost or ruined.
They had pretty glitter in their hair.

86/365 (Friday's)
I took some pictures Friday for a friend...the sun wasn't being too cooperative though. I thought by 5 it would almost be down, but it wasn't. We had fun though and we'll try again another day.
I'm wearing a yellow shirt, but you can also see the slides from the toys (those are yellow too)
This picture is crazy-if you look close you can see my reflection in her eyes...the next picture is the same picture but a close up of her eyes.

I adore this picture!
So serious!
So serious!
I can't believe how much Paxton has started talking. Yesterday the girls were waiting for Paxton when he woke up from his nap. He is always so excited to see them. When Kelly came and picked them up he later asked me, "where Assen go?" I told him that her and Isabelle had to leave to go to their soccer game but that we'd see them in a little while. When we pulled up to the soccer field Paxton said, "this Assen game?" It was just too cute! Then the other night I was holding Paxton and Junior asked him if he could hold him, Paxton looked at him and very seriously said, "No dadda, I want momma hold me."
Where did my baby go? I can't believe that he'll be 2 in less than a month! =(
